OC Comm alum Lucas Ross enjoys a successful career in entertainment

OC is proud to call Lucas Ross a Communication alumnus. He graduated in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate media. Since graduation, Ross has been a professional actor and on-air talent for KFOR. He also performs with area arts organizations and volunteers in outreach and promotion for the American Banjo Museum. Ross has even had the chance to sit down with comedian Jim Gaffigan, and play the banjo with Steve Martin.

Since he began his professional acting career, Lucas has won five local Emmy awards and one national Emmy. He has been noticed on nationwide television such as “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” Adweek Magazine, and the CBS “Sunday Show with Willie Geist.” Most recently, Lucas and his OC Communication alum brother, Marcus, had one of their latest short films made available on Amazon Prime. They were the first OC filmmakers to achieve such an honor!
