Elizabeth Killough is Eagle PR’s digital media director. She creates and publishes social media content for the firm. She is also in charge of creating and maintaining websites and social accounts. She is a public relations major and third-year Eagle PR member who has prior experience with Event Planning. Elizabeth is a junior from outside of Houston, Texas. She loves meeting new people, building relationships and staying organized. In addition to managing social media platforms, she practices photography and does some of the agency’s writing. This past summer, she served at a church in Springfield, Missouri as a youth intern. As part of her job, she was in charge of their social media channels and took picutres at all of the events. Elizabeth’s writing has been published in Newsok, Life and Leisure and the Edmond Sun. On campus, she is an active member of Iota Kappa Phi, a member of PRSSA, is in Oklahoma Christian’s Chamber choir and is the historian for the entire choir program for the second year. She performed in Oklahoma Christian’s homecoming musical in 2016 and the overall homecoming photographer for the 2017 homecoming. She also loves traveling, music, serving her church community and being around the people she loves.
Media Relations Director
Christian Franklin is a senior public relations major at Oklahoma Christian University. He serves as the media relations director for Eagle PR. He communicates with the media to create newsworthy events, pitches client stories to the press, handles edits for all the firm’s copy, builds relationships with community leaders and OC’s PRSA chapter professionals and creates all media lists, press releases and media alerts. Christian also covers all feature stories, opinion editorials and blogs. He previously served as the digital media director for the firm in 2017, handling social media content for all client accounts and oversaw any digital media operations, along with website creation, design and social media advertising. During summer 2016, Christian was the communications intern for the Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma, where he gained experience in media relations and community relations. In the summer of 2017, Christian interned at Jones Public Relations, one of the top PR agencies in Oklahoma City. There, he created social media content for multiple clients, helped in the development of PR campaigns and worked on executive profiles for head team members of various organizations. Christian has been a member of OC PRSSA since fall of 2015 and currently serves as OC PRSSA's vice president of campus communication. He enjoys sports, cars, movies and making everyone around him laugh.
Research and Evaluation Coordinator
Shaylin Stephenson is Eagle PR’s research and evaluation coordinator. She is a public relations major with a minor in bible and second-year Eagle PR member. Shaylin is a junior from Lubbock, Texas. She enjoys meeting new people, getting out of her comfort zone, building relationships with others and has a heart for mission work. She is a tour guide at Oklahoma Christian University and enjoys that time spent with prospective students who are looking to make OC their home. She is also a member of Gamma Rho. Most of all, Shaylin loves the Lord and hopes to bring the light of God to everybody she meets.
Mandolin Skipworth is a senior public relations major at Oklahoma Christian University from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She serves as the firm director for Eagle PR. She oversees all client work, pitches client stories to the press, handles edits for all the firm’s copy and builds relationships with community leaders and OC's PRSA chapter professionals. She oversees all campaigns and projects and maintains communication with clients and team members to ensure public relations goals are met. This is her third year working for Eagle PR; two years ago she was the research coordinator, in the fall 2017 semester she served as the media relations director, while she began her role as firm director in the spring of 2018. She gained corporate experience in the summer of 2016, interning as a copy editor for Dynamesh in Batavia, Illinois. As copy editor, she wrote and edited copy for their rebranded website. This past summer, she worked as the marketing and events intern for the Village of Oswego, Oswego's city hall. She worked events, wrote website copy, ran social media and created a local "Humans of Oswego" campaign. On campus, Mandolin, a clarinet player for 9 years, is in the OC symphonic band. She is the director for the campus homecoming and is active in her on-campus social club. She enjoys creative opportunities and getting to work with a variety of people.
Haleigh Evans serves as the Events Coordinator for Eagle PR. She is a junior public relations major from the small town of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. This is her second year on the Eagle PR team. Haleigh loves meeting new people and learning their stories. She has a passion for participating in international mission work and building relationships with the people she encounters. Haleigh is an active member of Gamma Rho at Oklahoma Christian University. She enjoys participating in campus events like Earn Your Wings, homecoming, and Spring Sing. She also enjoys writing, spending time with her friends, and being outdoors.
Melanie Campbell is beginning her first year at Eagle PR as a staff associate. She is a junior studying public relations at Oklahoma Christian University and is originally from Westminster, Colorado. Along with Eagle PR, Melanie is serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Soundings Literary and Visual Arts Journal and is currently interning with the Alzheimer’s Association in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has a heart for photography as well as engaging in connections with people locally and internationally.
Bayley Eckhart is a junior public relations major at Oklahoma Christian University. She is from Edmond, Oklahoma and serves as a Staff Associate. She is the Historian and handles all the social media for her social club Theta. Bayley spent the summer of 2018 teaching English and building relationships with the natives of Thailand. She enjoys meeting new people and learning about the diversity of the world. Bayley also enjoys hiking, camping and hammocking outdoors with her friends.
Paige Steeley Staff Associate
Paige Steeley is a sophomore public relations major at Oklahoma Christian University from Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a second-year member of Eagle PR, she serves as a staff associate, preparing articles about notable events on campus to be featured on the OC website and editing content. She is a member of PRSSA and an accounts payable clerk at Petra Industries. In her free time, she enjoys performing in campus productions such as the homecoming musical Anything Goes and Spring Sing, reading good books and exploring the Oklahoma City area with her friends. In the fall 2018 semester, Paige looks forward to studying abroad in Vienna, Austria and traveling throughout Europe.
